PML’s cutting edge technology heralds a new range of offset printing services. PML operate four modern large-capacity presses, linked to our Computer to Plate (CTP) system which shortcuts the pre-press process for high speed turnaround and quality control. The CTP system is synchronized to a 43” plotter to enable the output of full size proofs.
PML is equipped to achieve;
Speed – PML utilises CTP technology to streamline the printing process – the electronic file is loaded direct to the press, with ducts set and plates punched and loaded automatically. The first printed sheet is printed in four colour process with accuracy of up to 4-5 microns. Infrared drying enables immediate backup for the reverse printing.
Versatility – PML’s automated offset presses set new standards in offset printing capabilities by delivering a range of sizes and formats with simultaneous overprinting of two and four colours. PML can also supply double sided 2 colour offset printed envelopes up to A3 size.
Quality – PML’s high-quality folding and finishing capabilities include fast, neat, professional saddle-stitching perfect binding and four-loop stitching. PML’s folding machine is automated for speed and accuracy and our collation machine is capable of saddle-stitching up to120 printed pages. PML offers a four-loop stitching capability – ideal for binder inserts such as high quality catalogues.
